Gacha Gaming

Right now here’s mine:

Tower of Fantasy – Reset in the AM before I wake, so I take 5-10 min to knock out daily bounties and stamina. I make sure to take 20-30 min during the week some time to explore and open a few chests so that I complete the weeklies as well.

Higan: Eruthyll – Reset noon AST. Currently my story focus since it’s a new release. Soft launch in Canada iirc. Story was pretty great, limited time event was fully voiced which is a bit of a shock… will it remain in game long term? Or is it really gone after the time is up and just the rewards gacha is gone perhaps? Because I can’t believe they fully voiced the event story with all that animation just to scrap it. And that’s the real hook with this game for me, the cutscene animations and presentation are top notch for a level-based gacha rpg. The event story was VERY good, and the main story so far is very good as well.

Eversoul – Reset 8pm AST. Love this game. Easily my favorite game in the rotation atm (not directly compared with ToF, they are different things imo). I enjoy dispatch missions, it has great rogue-like mode you can run every 2 days, and a weekly dungeon that takes 20-30 min. Town building is fun with the event rewards. Story was good but it is completely optional after a point so I haven’t touched it since… though I do want to return to it. Watching my power climb is all I care about.

Rise of Eros – ahem. Look… It’s a damn good game. Reset 11pm AST. back-to-back events with solid character writing and fun/quick dailies. Story was very good actually, perhaps ashamed to admit I actually finished it (I never do that). If this was released on Google Play I would have absolutely played it.

Volzerk – Non-Gacha, but what a game! Only a login bonus item per day, otherwise just play at your leisure. Pokemon style monster collecting with Phantasy Star Online style missions/zones and combat… Yup it’s pretty great. Story is hilarious and characters are charming. Purchase the high tier heroes you desire directly, you get one free top star of your choice.

NIKKE – not current in daily rotation, but sometimes I play for fun or to see who is latest banner.
