SunSystems is a very powerful System that is easy to use and implement especially for Hospitality Sector and Service sector and will provide you “when rightly implemented” with 90% of your Accounting and Administration requirements with very good, real time analytics that will drive your Business Decisions though, if your company is in the Manufacturing or retail business I recommend going for Infor LN or Infor M3

Pros

1- Q&A tool built on Microsoft office
2- easy to use Report Manager
3- corporate allocation is one of the best solutions that can be used for Cost allocation on Cost Centers within the same company or across many business units.
4- transaction matching & Reconciliation Manager available and easy to use
5- drill down capabilities on any account.
6- management of all purchasing, inventory and sales processes…

Cons

1- System does manage asset registry but maintenance and asset tracking is not present inside of it.
2- integrations with other apps needs the purchase of another platform (Infor ION).
3- Budget creation can be managed from the system but planning needs another app.
4- automatic transaction matching cannot handle partial matching so the amounts needs to be the exact same with no difference or tolerance.
5- user journal entry transaction screen is very hard to use for normal user so they use the Q&A Excel add on to fasten and ease the entry process specially for bulk transactions.
