Reddit – Dive into anything

I know there is a general dislike for motherboard “bloatware”, but I am wondering if any of it has merit. I have a Gigabyte motherboard, so my system encouraged me to download the Gigabyte Control Center (GCC) https://www.gigabyte.com/WebPage/942/global/. I went ahead and installed it just as an easy way to manage the colors of my fans. For more detail, I posted some screen shots of the software I have installed through GCC vs what my other options are: https://imgur.com/gallery/CSCffkj

I also have a razer mouse and headset. Razer has tried to encourage me to also install a suite of software. These can be found on their website: https://www.razer.com/pc/software. I did not install any of this though.

So my questions, do I need GCC to manage my RGB options? Is any of that other software worth installing for either GCC or Razer? I never plan to overclock my system, nor min-max it too precisely really. I do enjoy easy use tuning, such as what AMD or NVIDIA offer in their “control centers”. If some of this software would make thing better, I would be willing to learn some of it. But also don’t want unnecessary items slowing me down.

If it helps at all, here is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JgDyNc
