* Please note that the current SAS installers have expired license files. After you download and install the SAS application, you will need to follow the directions below on “Renewing Your SAS License” We hope to update the installer with the new license soon.
Renewing Your SAS License
If you have installed SAS on your computer and need to renew your annual software license, see Renewing Your SAS License on the ITS website. To download SAS licenses, see software.usc.edu/sas/sas-license-files. These licenses expire on June 30, 2023.
SAS OnDemand for Academics
Please Note: SAS OnDemand for Academics has replaced SAS University Edition as the primary software choice for learners and educators, effective August 2, 2021
Students can access SAS by going to the following SAS Website and accessing the SAS Software in the Cloud for free: SAS® OnDemand for Academics
SAS in the USC Computing Centers
SAS is available on computers located in the following USC Computing Centers:
- Waite Phillips Hall (WPH) B34
For information on accessing software in these USC Computing Centers, see itservices.usc.edu/spaces/computingcenters.
Additionally, SAS is available for use on USC’s compute facilities and on the High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster.
Remote Access through Cloudapps.usc.edu
This software is also available through ITS’s virtual desktop interface (VDI), cloudapps.usc.edu. For information on how to access applications through cloudapps.usc.edu, visit itservices.usc.edu/vdi.
