To upload a photo to Pinterest from your desktop, go to Pinterest.com in your web browser and log in. Next, click the plus button at the lower right side of the window, and select “Create a Pin” from the popup menu. This will take you to a new page where you can upload your image and add a description. You will see a gray box that says, “Drag and drop or click to upload.” From here, you can select an image on your desktop and drag it directly into the box to upload it. When the menu opens, select “Pin.” At this point, the app might prompt you to allow Pinterest to access your photos or camera. When your photo gallery opens, tap the photo you want to upload. You can also take a new photo using your phone or tablet camera. Then, add a title and description. If you want, add a link to a website. When you’re done, tap “Next.” Select the board you want to add your photo to, or tap “Create board” to make a new one. The photo pin will then save to your board, and you’re done.
