10 PlayStation 3 Games With Graphics That Have Aged The Best
The PlayStation 3 was a console that faced a pretty rocky launch when it was announced, mainly due to a poor launch where the price of the console coupled with the lack of any great titles led to the Xbox 360 capturing a greater share of the market. However, over time, Sony slowly rebuilt its reputation and secured many great titles that compelled more and more people to try this console out.

Grand Theft Auto 5
To this day, it’s hard to believe that Grand Theft Auto 5 was released on the PS3. The game looked absolutely gorgeous on this console, with the long loading times being one of the few drawbacks of playing on the PS3.
The chaotic gameplay in and around Los Santos made for a great time, with players being able to switch between three protagonists on the fly. It’s easily the most ambitious game on the console to date and is still going strong to this day thanks to its online component.
9
Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead Redemption is one of the best western open-world games ever made. Witnessing John Marston’s story as he strove to kill off the past members of his gang and secure his family’s safety made for a great story.
The story of this title was truly sublime and unlike most other Rockstar offerings out there, was topped only by its sequel. The strong art direction of this game is present in each and every facet of the title and makes it a blast to play even now.

The Last Of Us
The Last of Us is a game that needs no introduction, receiving a remake, remaster, and a TV show adaptation that has been making waves with each episode. The story of Joel and Ellie as they strove to make it to the Firefly Headquarters and try to save humanity makes for an incredibly emotional tale indeed.

Even with the release of modern titles like Gotham Knights, there are many people who feel that Arkham City is still miles ahead in every way. The strong art style of this title uses gothic architecture to make the Arkham City prison look terrifyingly beautiful in a poignant way.

BioShock Infinite
With the success of BioShock and its sequel, Ken Levine had a massive job on his hands when it came to developing BioShock Infinite. Thankfully, the final entry in the BioShock trilogy knocked it out of the park, cementing the series as one of the greatest in gaming history.
BioShock Infinite features a mind-bending story coupled with great and colorful visuals that were a stark departure from the dark and claustrophobic halls of Rapture. The city of Columbia was a ton of fun to explore and still looks beautiful to this day, with the PS3 hardware being pushed to its very limits.
5
Persona 5
The Persona series is one of the most popular JRPGs around, and a large reason for this is the amazing success of Persona 5. The reason why so many eyeballs were drawn toward this game is mainly due to the title’s incredible art style.
The anime visuals and great art design are two of the biggest reasons why the game looks beautiful on the PS3 even now. Aside from enjoying a higher FPS and more high-resolution textures, there’s no reason why players shouldn’t be happy with the visual fidelity of this game on the PlayStation 3.
4
Max Payne 3
Max Payne 3 is a great chapter in this series, even if die-hard fans don’t appreciate the changes made to the formula. Regardless, there’s no denying that the third title has several strengths of its own, with the improved gunplay and amazing visuals being two of its biggest strengths.
There’s a reason why Max Payne 3 takes so long to load on the PS3, with its detailed visuals and amazing attention to detail causing the console to go into overdrive. Thankfully, the cutscenes of this game were long enough that most players never found the loading to be an inconvenience at all.
3
Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch

1
Tomb Raider
The Tomb Raider reboot was a return to form for Lara Croft after years of absence. Many people were skeptical of this game when it was slated to be launched, but a strong gameplay loop coupled with Lara’s character development made the entire experience pretty worthwhile.
