I would not call being a D. I. K. quality. God, the models are atrocious. Look, the west mostly bombs when it comes to this stuff, let’s just be honest. There is nothing “quality” about those titles. Put something on the scale of Full Metal Demon Muramasa against Being A DIK and tell me which one has more quality in level of storytelling alone? Exactly.

Grand 60 hour epic vs. Guy goes to college and parties. Yes, some of us are actually here for the gameplay and story content.

It’s ok, if you don’t. I do.
I laughed my ass off, Hell Week was hillarious. And the dev really goes into details. Apart from that it’s like watching a TV soap … with nudity. A lot of normal people trying to get along, no big bad evil dudes trying to go for world domination of something similar. I like that about the story.
There are so many variations for everything … I call that amazing. He really put a lot of effort into it.

Btw … If you are talking about grind I assume you mean a different game since in this one the progress is purely story based. There are no stats you can grind (except the funds for the house renovation).

Edit: We both may have very differnt tastes.
Just took a look at the novel you mentioned and now I know for certain that I will not look at it again. If there was much mentionable gameplay, it didn’t show in the gameplay videos. And I don’t like that type of character drawings anyway, asides from the ‘guy for some reason fights other guys’ storyline. When I was younger, I watched a lot of these 70s eastern flicks, but that I left behind. Now I stick to a few black & white classics and ignore the rest.

Does this game/novel/whatever even fit the category of games this thread is about?
