On the basis of introducing conventional drilling design and various map-making, the rapid, scientific and accurate drawing of geological maps by Rockworks software,s tool for geological modeling and mapping,was discussed and using geological language to display the log interpretation data more intuitively. Through the analysis of various types of paper charts and profiles, the position, thickness, grade and lithology of the mine bed are predicted combining with metallogenic regularity and groundwater flow direction. It provide technical support for reasonable installation of filters, ensure the effectiveness of borehole construction, reduce the probability of non-hole construction, and effectively recover uranium resources. In addition,some suggestions on the degree of applied research of Rockworks software in drilling design and the shortcomings in the management process were proposed for further development of the subject.
