Autodesk Software | U-M Software Directory
Autodesk is best known for AutoCAD, but also develops a broad range of software for design, engineering, and entertainment. The manufacturing industry uses Autodesk’s digital prototyping software—including Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, and the Autodesk Product Design Suite—to visualize, simulate, and analyze real-world performance using a digital model in the design process. The Revit line of software for building information modeling is designed to let users explore the planning, construction, and management of a building virtually before it is built.
Students and educators can get free one-year educational access to Autodesk products and services, renewable as long as they remain eligible. Refer to Terms and Conditions below.
