BitcoinDark – Wiki

BitcoinDark is a privacy cryptocurrency platform designed for trading assets and different cryptocurrencies. Its key features include P2P Instant Exchange (InstantDEX), Pegged Asset Exchange (PAX), and private transactions. All transactions and assets information are stored in the user’s computer, allowing immediate access without the hassles of a third party storage provider. The BitcoinDark manifesto describing the inspiration for creating the platform references the 1993 Cypherpunk by Eric Hughes. The BitcoinDark coin is represented by the symbol BTCD.

BitcoinDark developers moved to working on the Komodo Protocol while allowing one year for BTCD to be swapped for Komodo (KMD) coins. A poll question on bitcointalk forum showed a vote 116-41 in favor of the transition to Komodo.
