I have had the pleasure of working with Allen in a variety of project environments since Tallan and Ceira Technologies began working together in 2004. As the Engagement Director for a $100M financial services client, Allen integrated and managed a team of software engineers, business analysts, and consultants to deliver business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans, and IT services essential to the company’s rapid growth. Allen reported directly to the CTO, and was able to successfully lead the team through challenging political environments, as our projects often resulted in significant workflow changes and cultural adjustments. Allen is very organized and is able to communicate effectively with both customers and technical personnel. He seems to easily analyze the customer’s needs and translate that into project requirements and timelines. When managing projects, he has the ability to handle the levels of detail needed, and is able to keep the customer informed and invested in the project while keeping the technical assets of the project moving forward to deliver the project on time and budget.
