Interactive Learning

The EPview app is free and available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store.

PC/laptop protected learning

Users with WLAN-enabled PCs or laptops with a Windows operating system can download and install the EPview software free of charge.
EPview software for PCs/Laptops provides the same camera controls and functionality as EPview software for mobile devices, including viewing, capturing, editing, saving and sharing captured images and videos.

Improved teaching

Teachers and students can benefit from the image sharing, viewing and storage options of the Wi-Fi enabled EP50 camera:

• Live streaming of images on mobile devices or WiFi-enabled PCs/laptops from multiple people
• View sample images on a high-resolution monitor, projector, or interactive whiteboard by connecting to the camera’s HDMI port
• Presentation of Full HD videos (60 fps)
• Connect an SD card and store captured images for later analysis

Improved learning process

Students can experience a learning process with digital imaging:

• The camera’s On-Screen Display (OSD) imaging software can be used comfortably alone or in groups.
• The OSD software is simple and intuitive
• Easily capture, view, and edit sample images and movies.
• Storage of microscopy data on an SD card for further examinations.

Stand alone mode

With just a monitor and a USB mouse, users can control the EP50 camera via the On-Screen Display Software (OSD).

This configuration has several advantages:

• Easy-to-use interface for teaching.
• No PC required, ie reduced equipment costs and less floor space required in the classroom.
• More flexibility because less work space is required.
• Students can view live images, save images to an SD card, or add various annotations to images.
