Get Access to Adobe Creative Cloud / U-M Information and Technology Services

Creative Cloud is automatically available to all active students, faculty, and regular full- and part-time staff on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint and Michigan Medicine campuses. Please allow one day to receive your Adobe license. Adobe licenses are provisioned automatically on your second day.

Personal Devices – Students, Faculty & Staff

Download Creative Cloud from Adobe. Once you download the Creative Cloud app, you can select which products to download onto your computer.

Prior to using it for the first time, see How to Log In to Adobe Products.

If you run out of space or are no longer using an app, you can uninstall it at any time.

MiWorkspace Units

You can easily install the new tools using the Software Center (Windows) or the Managed Software Center (Mac).

Once you install the app(s), you’ll need to log in prior to first use. See How to Log In to Adobe Products.

If You Opt Instead to Install All Apps

If you have a self-managed workstation and choose to install all the Creative Cloud apps, make sure you have enough hard drive free space:

  • MiWorkspace Windows machines require about 60 GB for the initial installation of all Adobe CC apps and around 20 GB to run thereafter.
  • MiWorkspace Mac machines require about 50 GB for the apps.

Non-MiWorkspace Units

Other units can work with their local IT support to obtain the applications.
