I’m still in the beginning stages of using this app, but so far it is EXTREMELY helpful for games for youth group — ESPECIALLY during the pandemic. One of my weekly anxieties as a youth pastor is finding games that work for our community that aren’t cheesy, lame, or awkward. It’s a ministry challenge I was totally not expecting. Grow Games and Icebreakers is a super easy and functional for my needs each week. There are so many different types of games and I’m still working through my favorites list to see what works and what doesn’t for our community. I especially want to highlight that this is a great resource for finding solid games to play via Zoom with youth.

UPDATE— there is in fact a category for social distance games. Wow. Incredible and excited to try them out soon!

I’ll report back in a couple months after we’ve tried some more games to give more feedback on the games themselves. My 4 star is only because I haven’t used this app very long, and am just trying it out to see how it works for me. Once I use it enough to feel I can genuinely give 5 stars, I will do so!
