Haylou T15 review: Ultra-cheap TWS for rock music

Design, comfort and battery life

With the T15, Haylou offers a totally different model than its other, more rounded offerings below $25. The Haylou T15 has a much bigger charging case than the GT1, GT1 Plus, GT2, and even the GT1 Pro.

It’s intended. The T15 charging case carries 2200mAh and is not only capable of recharging the earpieces around 15 (!) times; you can also recharge your smartphone with it, due to the USB-port in the case. As the case delivers 2200mAh, it’s dependent on your phone if you can reach a full recharge with it, but it’s a nice feature option to have.

Unfortunately, the case is quite heavy, and you can only power the charging case with micro-USB. Prepare to have this beast charged overnight.

The earpieces of the T15 have a different shape from the other Haylou’s. They have a comparable bean-like form, but they’re shorter, and they have a tiny knob on one of the corners, where the microphone is positioned. You lay these earphones horizontally in your ears.

The fit is a bit tricky – the T15 earpieces require a bit of fiddling to make them sound at their best and stay in. Once you press them in a bit, they will stay in okay – but it’s safer not to sport with these. Putting the earpieces back in the case requires a bit of attention. Make sure they cling on to the magnets the right way, so you’ll be assured they charge.
