How to Use a Zune on a Mac

Download the Windows Phone 7 Connector software (link in Resources). Extract the file to your desktop and drag the program icon to your Applications folder.

Access the software in your Applications folder to begin and complete installation. Launch the Windows Phone 7 Connector software.

Connect the Zune player to your Mac using a USB cable. The software will recognize your player and display its name (if it has one) as well as a graphic of the particular model and its current capacity.

Click the “Enable Sync” button on the main menu screen. This allows the software to open up your player for browsing and sync capabilities, which is necessary for file transfers.

Browse your Zune by selecting the “Music” option from the menu on the left of the software window. Your music will be organized by playlist, artist, genre and album.

Delete certain songs or albums by highlighting the item(s) and clicking “Delete Selected Items” at the bottom of the window.

Sync your Zune with your Mac’s music library by clicking the “Sync” button in the lower right corner of the window.
