Features and Advantages of Using Logitech G Hub
The first thing you can notice is that the design is completely revamped to a more modern look.
Additional features in Logitech G Hub include more lighting effects. In Logitech Gaming Software, only Color Cycle and Breathing Effect were available. Fixed, Screen Sampler and Audio Visualizer effects has been added to the G Hub.
You can continue to use LUA script in G Hub.
But in G Hub, you can also record your own macro and assign it to a mouse button, keyboard key, etc.
Another few feature is that you can download profiles that other people have shared in G Hub.
And of course, you can share your own profiles.
G Hub is also a lot more lightweight than Logitech Gaming Software. Logitech Gaming Software always carried firmware and software updates for all compatible Logitech devices, which created a lot of unnecessary load on the PC. But Logitech G Hub downloads software packages for only the devices you plug in.
Another upgrade from the Logitech Gaming Software is that when your device gets an update, you can just click a button and update your gear. With Logitech Gaming Software, you had to download a whole software again and re-install it.
