As mentioned during Mario Kart, many players’ fondest memories of the Mario title begin with one of its earliest games, Super Mario Bros. on the Game & Watch in 1988. With the title releasing on a variety of different platforms, this platformer branched out into other genres and first entertained players with its simple pixel graphics and side scroll roots.
