Microsoft Office 365 | Information Technology

Students have access to Office 2016 including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote. With Office 365, you can install the latest version of Microsoft Office on multiple PCs, Macs, and tablets. If you save your work on OneDrive, you can work on the same document across all of your devices.

Windows Installation Instructions:

1. Log in to Tulane Email: https://outlook.com/tulane.edu
2. Click the Office 365 heading in the top left corner of the window
3. To install the latest version of Office, select Install now 
4. Save the file and then locate the file to continue as directed by the splash screen
5. Please stay online, and wait while Office downloads.  You do not need to do anything.
6. When the installation is complete, it will display a screen saying You’re All Done!  Click Close.

Mac Installation Instructions:

1. Log in to Tulane Email: https://outlook.com/tulane.edu
2. Click the Office 365 heading in the top left corner of the window
3. To install the latest version of Office, select Install now
4. After the disk image file finishes downloading, go to the Downloads folder in the Finder
5. Select the MicrosoftOffice2016.dmg file
6. On the Welcome to Office: mac screen, select Sign in to an existing Office 365 Subscription, and then sign in with your Tulane credentials

IPad Installation Instructions:

1. In the app store, search Office for iPad.  Each Office product must be downloaded and installed separately.
2. Choose Excel, Word, or Power Point for iPad to get started.
3. When the download completes, open the application and select Sign In
4. Select Work Account or Organizational Account
5. Enter your Tulane email address and Password
6. You are all set!
