Ole Miss, OtoPro Partner on Hearing Protection for Rifle Program – Ole Miss Athletics

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss Athletics and Mississippi-based company, OtoPro Technologies, have partnered to become the official provider of hearing protection for Ole Miss rifle.

OtoPro is a concierge hearing service for individuals at risk for noise induced hearing loss, providing unparalleled customer service, audiological expertise, best-in-class products, and local relationships with hearing care providers for early diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss. OtoPro was founded by audiologist Dr. Grace Sturdivant, an Ole Miss alum.

“Dr. Grace Sturdivant understands the needs of shooters and the OtoPro earplugs are simply better than any I’ve used in my career,” said head coach Marsha Beasley. “They fit better and therefore provide more protection and comfort, so shooters are more likely to wear them. The embedded membrane allows team members to hear range commands which eliminates the temptation to remove the hearing protection during competition.”
