Plants vs Zombies 2: Its About Time Download

Some rivalries are as old as time, stretching across generations with no conceivable ending. One such rivalry is the one contained within Plants Vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time. This second entry in one of the most popular video game series of the past decade illustrates the constant lock struggle between the brain-munching undead and flora of the garden by having zombies from different time periods show up to aid the offensive.

Developed by EA, Plants Vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time takes the wildly successful tower defense formula established in the first game and improves upon it in a number of ways. If you’re a fan of the first Plants Vs. Zombies and you want some more of that colorful, tactical action, then here is everything you need to know before you dig into Plants Vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time.

A Hilarious Setup

Following the successful defeat of Dr. Zomboss at the end of the original Plants vs. Zombies, everyone’s favorite unhinged character, Crazy Dave, takes a minute to enjoy a delicious taco. Upon finishing the taco and realizing how delicious it was, Crazy Dave decides he wants to eat it again!

But, instead of just getting another taco, he calls up Penny, a time-traveling car, to take him back in time to eat that very same taco. As you can probably imagine, this little scheme takes a turn for the worst, and the gang gets thrown 4,000 years into the past. Now, the player must battle zombies from across time until they can find a way to get back to their proper time period.

Outrageous Levels

This journey to try to get back to their proper time plays out through 11 crazy worlds that will take you from the aforementioned Ancient Egypt, all the way to the Far Future, with so many stops in between. With over 300 levels, you’ll become well-acquainted with each and every setting!

But the gameplay doesn’t end at just those levels. There are also multiple challenges like the endless levels, mini-games, and also the daily Pinata Party challenge. Also, Dr. Zomboss lives, and he’ll have a surprise for you at the end of each level. So be prepared to face off!

Iconic Units

Plants Vs. Zombies doesn’t have any human heroes the way Starcraft has Tychus and Jim Raynor, but it does have a myriad of hilarious and iconic units. On the plant side of things, you have the Peashooter, Laser Bean, and Sunflower. The developers found creative ways to make seemingly normal plants into weaponized flora, and the results are instantly endearing.

Less endearing is the array of zombies you’ll face throughout the game. From the Jetpack Zombie to the Zombie Chickens, there are plenty of different enemy types that want to eat your brain. Learn to adapt and utilize different strategies to have the best chance of survival.
