PlatinumGames Inc. (プラチナゲームズ株式会社) is the independent video games development company responsible for games such as Anarchy Reigns and MadWorld. It’s based in Osaka, Japan and was founded on August 1st 2006 under the name SEEDS Inc. by Hideki Kamiya, Atsushi Inaba and Shinji Mikami; former members of Capcom’s Clover Studio.

The current CEO and president is Tatsuya Minami, who founded ODD Ltd. In 2007, this company was renamed ODD Inc. and moved to 1-1-30 Oyodonaka, Kita-ku, Osaka. In October of the same year, ODD Inc. was merged with SEEDS Inc. to form PlatinumGames on October 2007. In 2008, a four title publishing agreement was made with Sega, and Bayonetta, MadWorld, and Infinite Space were announced. [1]
