Mathematically previous random events don’t affect on the next random event. So the next 4 rolls could still be BLACK. In progressive strategies you will most likely run out of money, because you have to always double bets if you lose.

Theoretically, progressive systems could work if you had an infinite bankroll. But still, there is the green zero in the game which lowers the roulette return to player rate to slightly under 100%.

Previous spins don’t affect the spins in the future

Roulette is a game of luck, so every spin of the wheel is 100% random. The movement of the wheel and the ball going to the opposite direction is very complicated and chaotic. You just cannot predict the outcome even if you had the most powerful supercomputer in the world.

What if there has been 100 consecutive Black numbers? The next has to be Red?
