Installation Instructions

• Power Tools is a collection of Notes databases. There are no .DLLs or .EXEs. No restart of your workstation or server will be needed after installing Power Tools.
• Download and unzip POWERTOOLS14TRIAL.ZIP by clicking on the Download Free Trial Version button above.
• Power Tools can be run from a server or a workstation. Select the server or workstation to install Power Tools on.
• The unzipped files should be placed in a folder under the data directory (c:\notes\data\powertools or something similar).
• Open PTHELP.NSF and follow the instructions for setting up Power Tools.
• Contact [email protected] if you have problems or questions.

Trial Version Limitations

There is no time limit for the Power Tools trial version. The trial version is fully functional, but most of the utilities will not process all possible names or databases. For example, some utilities will only process databases where the file name starts with the letters ‘A’ through ‘M’ and databases that start with the letters ‘N’ through ‘Z’ will be skipped. Some utilities will only process user names that start with the letters ‘A’ through ‘M’ and user names that start with the letters ‘N’ through ‘Z’ will be skipped. In any case, you will be notified when you start a utility what, if any, the trial version limitation is.

Purchase Power Tools

Requirements:  Power Tools requires Notes 6 or later.
Pricing:  Power Tools is licensed per Power Tools user (a Power Tools user is usually a Notes / Domino administrator) and is available for $399.00 US per license. This license is a perpetual license. This product is available for download only. Annual maintenance (support and automatic updates for one year) is available for $69.00 US.

You can rent Power Tools for 6 months for $199.00 US. If you don’t need to own Power Tools, but you would like to use it for a short project, save money and use all of the Power Tools utilities for 6 months, then this might be a good fit for you. If you decide you’d like to own it within one year, you can upgrade to the full Power Tools version for the difference in price.
