Reddit – Dive into anything

idk if this has been posted before. If so, sorry!!

I am unable to use one of my photos for my theme in Gmail. I have tried uploading it to google photos, and also putting it into its own album. Nothing seems to work, as before I would send my image to google hangouts and it would appear there. Now that hangouts are gone, that option is no longer viable. The only fix is to set it as the profile image, but that makes it square, making even high res photos too zoomed in to be any good. Maybe I should make a 16K image?? XD

Honestly, it seems negligent on google’s part as to how they have not made an option to upload a custom wallpaper from PC files.
