Reddit – Dive into anything

So this is an issue that’s plagued me for years, and despite googling around and various attempts, I’ve never been able to fix it.

Hardware/software in question:

• Logitech Gaming Software 9.02

• Logitech G600

Occasionally my mouse pointer will freeze if I haven’t used the computer for extended amount of time or waking up from sleep. Upon hitting ctrl-alt-del I will regain control of the mouse but ONLY while clicking on the task manager. Clicking anywhere else doesn’t do anything. If I force quit Logitech Gaming Software from the task manager, I will re-gain control of my mouse.

This leads me to believe the issue is w/ Logitech drivers/software. The only other input devices I have connected are a keyboard and headset, both logitech. Force closing any other software via task manager never recovers the mouse, it’s only ever when force closing Logitech.

Any help would be appreciated as this is a very annoying issue, as I use the software for automatic game detection for my G600
