Anyone else finding dealing with Siemens OSD and downloads a frustrating experience?

It never used to be this hard to get hold of older releases, years ago I used to get sent a CD/USB with the licenses and software on that we could track/store and use, if we needed to support a client on older revisions and firmware.

However now Siemens removes older software downloads and licenses from the OSD portal, leaving me in trouble if I missed a rev and didn’t grab the license while it was active.

Or I get lucky and the trial version is still downloadable from the support portal but then I have to deal with whatever sloth does the “manual checking” for export control.

It shouldn’t be this hard to get hold of legacy software, I shouldn’t have to contact my local Siemens rep for software thats only a few revisions behind. “V15” or make accounts dig up proof of purchase for something we have purchased continuously for the last 20+ years.

I cannot be the only one, I don’t have these issues with Mitsubishi or Rockwell.
