Review: ‘Saekano’ EP 10 formally adds Michiru to Blessing Software – Digital Journal
Episode 10 of Saekano: How To Raise A Boring Girlfriend, titled “A Melody of Reminiscing and Support,” is currently streaming on Crunchyroll for paid subscribers. Free subscribers can watch the same episode seven days from now on March 26th.
The episode starts off by showing the importance of embracing the internet and advancements in technology, where Tomoya is holding an online video chat with the other members of Blessing Software.
I am not surprised that the chat has gone off track as Eriri and Utaha are trading barbs with each other.

Things get interesting when Michiru, Tomoya’s cousin, makes her official appearance as she invites herself to the house. It was very awkward, which I find funny as Tomoya enters the bathroom to find his cousin topless.

I was shocked at the revelation that they were born on the same day and at the same hospital.
Michiru drops a major bomb on Tomoya, she’s crashing at his place for a little bit until things with her dad are settled.
I laughed when Utaha and Eriri interrogate Tomoya about Michiru, who they are skeptical is his cousin.

Utaha proves to be creepy and scary when she jumps to conclusions involving Tomoya and Michiru even without considering the possibility that they are simply cousins. I sense a hint of jealousy coming from Utaha.

It leads to an “oh s—t” moment when Michiru replaces Tomoya’s stuff with her stuff in his room.

I was shocked that Michiru put all of Tomoya’s anime and gaming stuff in the garbage bag. This makes me think that Michiru has overstayed her “welcome” at Tomoya’s place. This stuff was sacred to Tomoya and Michiru threw it away like it was nothing.
Hearing Michiru play becomes obvious that Tomoya needs her to compose the music for the visual novel.
This was an interesting episode that ended up a very comedic note. I am glad that Michiru has finally been introduced, which I look forward to seeing her interact with Utaha and Eriri.
