It’s not unlimited. Had you read the title or introduction of the piece, you would have realized that the main criteria is whether the service offers unlimited storage space.
It is unlimited if you get 5 users or more. It’s just hell expensive.

box and dropbox also need 2 or more people, but you included them. obviously this article is biased. google drive unlimited (5ppl up, enterprise plan) is obviously SKIPPED. Real users take care!
If it’s “hell expensive”, it doesn’t worth a place in the list. If it’s unaffordable, it’s like nothing.
Right now it’s US$ 9.6 per user. To get unlimited you must have a least 5 users, which makes it just US$ 48. This is far cheaper than dropbox business (unlimited) which right now is US$ 25 per user but has to be a minimum of 3 users, which makes it US$ 75 in order to get the unlimited offer. I don’t think G Suite is “hell expensive” if comparing it in this way.
Yea I don’t get this at all. Tried Dropbox “Unlimited”. With the business account (3 users) I have to ask support to pretty please increase my storage. I uninstalled and went to Google G Suite. Never looking back.
All of this is mute now, that gsuit has been discontinued.
FYI, GSuite doesn’t enforce the 5 user limit. You can absolutely sign-up and get unlimited storage. I only have 2 users on my GSuite account and it’s unlimited.

DropBox from my experience has been the best working with it through companies I worked for in the past. Im looking at it for personal use now.
Correct me if I’m wrong but o get Unlimited Data storage through DropBox, you would have to choose DropBox Business “Advance” option which is $20 a month but requires 3 users. So technically it’s $60 a month.
Does anyone know how to access DropBox Unlimited options for only 1 user? TIA.
That’s right. I doublechecked it myself. $20 per user licence – 3 users minimum (non-negotiable). $60 a month.
There’s no Dropbox Unlimited for personal.
Open Drive isn’t unlimited. I’ve just been stopped from uploading any more files as I reached a ‘limit’ despite my plan saying it is unlimited. Despite all over the site it saying UNLIMITED. it really isn’t unlimited.
There is an explanation. Under personal unlimited data plan characteristics there is a note:
***Mass storage of media libraries and NAS/SAN devices not permitted on this plan***
So they must explain what is the meaning of “mass storage”. What if I am in the video making business and my files are all video/audio?

The Personal Unlimited plan’s upload speed begins to gradually slow down as you approach 10TB. If you have less than 10 TB then that should work.
The business plans speeds start to lower at 20TB
You have a strange idea of cheap. At 10 cents per gigabyte, Rackspace is $100/month just for the first TB. The second TB is $90/month… This has to be the most expensive cloud storage on the planet.
The summary at the top is rubbish, both Dropbox and Box are a minimum of $60++/month due to their minimum user limits. OpenDrive is the only real option in this category.
