Definition: System testing is defined as testing of a complete and fully integrated software product. This testing falls in black-box testing wherein knowledge of the inner design of the code is not a pre-requisite and is done by the testing team.
Description: System testing is performed in the context of a System Requirement Specification (SRS) and/or a Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS). It is the final test to verify that the product to be delivered meets the specifications mentioned in the requirement document. It should investigate both functional and non-functional requirements.
