Who Is Ms. Rose

Laugh, Learn, and Earn. You don’t know much about NFTs and Crypto? It’s Ok! Ms. Rose Mary doesn’t know anything about it either. As a matter of fact, she’s very confused.

This is Ms. Rose Mary! She’s just like any other concerned and loving parent. She’s Nosy. Nosy as the day is long. That’s what she is.

Ms. Rose is always calling her friends to tell them what she thought she just heard and saw. Here’s the thing she can’t see too well and she’s hard of hearing in one ear. Ms. Rose just can’t seem to figure out what’s going on with her daughter and granddaughter.

Her daughter quit her job a few months back so Ms. Rose thinks her daughter has turned to a life of crime. Her daughter is happier and has much more time to spend with the family now that she is investing in Crypto and NFTs.

Not to mention, she has more money. Her daughter says “I don’t have a lot of old money, but I got a lot of new money tho”.

Last week, yet again, she overheard her daughter on a zoom call talking about buying low and selling high. But the rumor and sell the news.

I sure hope they are not selling stolen things. 

Ms. Rose thinks her daughter is saying NSF.

Ms. Rose thinks that both her Granddaughter and Daughter have resorted to a life of crime. She thinks that they have a large debt to pay to the gang she’s involved with.

Ms. Rose also believes that both the grandbaby and her daughter are in some type of gang called Crip toes.

She also heard her saying things like Big Coin (bitcoin) Alcorn (altcoins). Alcorn! Alcorn? My grandbaby is not going to Alcorn University. Ms. Rose wants her grandbaby to go to SU Southern University. Ms. Rose doesn’t want her grandbaby going to any other college but an HBCU.

So, all of this really has her very upset.

They are saying words she has never heard before. Ms. Rose Mary suspects this to all be code gang words and/or gang-related.

Well, she is not having this and plans to get down to the bottom of it.

WHAT IS AN NFT?

An NFT is a digital asset that exists on a blockchain, a record of transactions kept on networked computers.

The blockchain serves as a public ledger, allowing anyone to verify the NFT’s authenticity and who owns it.

So unlike most digital items which can be endlessly reproduced, each NFT has a unique digital signature, meaning it is one of a kind.

NFTs are usually bought with cryptocurrencies or in dollars and the blockchain keeps a record of transactions.

While anyone can view the NFT, only the buyer has the status of being the official owner – a kind of digital bragging rights.

Buying an NFT of an image or video does not normally mean the buyer gets the copyright of the underlying item.

 WHAT KIND OF NFTS EXIST?

All kinds of digital objects – images, videos, music, text, sports, shoes, clothes, food, and even tweets – can be bought and sold as NFTs.

Digital art has seen some of the most high-profile sales, while in sports, fans can collect and trade NFTs relating to a particular player or team.
