XFL schedule Week 3: What football games are on today? TV channels, times, scores

Maybe the third time is the charm?

In a battle of the winless squads, someone’s 0 must go, with the Vegas Vipers and Seattle Sea Dragons opening XFL Week 3 action on Saturday night.

So far, the Vipers have lost in a few different ways: They blew a lead against Arlington in Week 1, losing 22-20 after holding a 14-3 halftime lead. In Week 2, Vegas could only muster six points in their loss to the Defenders, scoring in the first quarter and then getting shut out the remainder of the game.

The Sea Dragons haven’t been able to get over the turnover bug early in the season. Quarterback Ben DiNucci (of Dallas Cowboys fame) fumbled twice in Week 2, pairing with his two interceptions in Week 1, playing into the 0-2 record.

What happens when an immovable, losing object runs into a winless, yet unstoppable force? You get the XFL, baby.

Sea Dragons vs. Vipers

  • Date: Saturday, March 4
  • Kickoff: 7 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: FX
  • Live stream: ESPN+, fuboTV

In a battle of the winless squads, the Vipers visit Seattle to take on the Sea Dragons. Seattle quarterback Ben DiNucci leads the XFL in passing yards, but has also had an issue taking care of the ball through the first two games of the season. The Vipers look to pick up their first win of the year, while they continue to navigate their quarterback situation between Luis Perez and Brett Hundley. Perez was benched for Hundley in Week 2.

Battlehawks vs. Defenders

  • Date: Sunday, March 5
  • Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: FX
  • Live stream: ESPN+, fuboTV

On the other side of the standings, the Battlehawks and Defenders meet in a matchup of two of the three remaining undefeated teams in the XFL. St. Louis has notched two come-from-behind wins en route to their 2-0 record. The Defenders have some work to do on the offensive side of the ball, though a 2-0 start should give them time to figure it out.
