Your Uninstaller! – Download
Your Uninstaller can help you remove unwanted programs from your Windows PC.
Your Uninstaller, which is stylized “Your Uninstaller!” by the developer, is a suite of tools for Windows and the primary tool included is an uninstaller that can remove all traces of a program from your computer. This serves as an alternative to the built-in Windows uninstaller. It provides you a more user-friendly view of installed software, which you can customize, and you can set Your Uninstaller to use the Windows uninstall engine or its own more-aggressive uninstall engine, which it uses by default.
Windows uninstall works fine most of the time; however, sometimes it’s unable to uninstall a program or leaves behind files. Your Uninstaller, on the other hand, can uninstall any program, and that includes programs that Windows failed to uninstall or uninstalled but botched the process. Your Uninstaller also performs thorough deletions. It scans the registry for entries associated with the uninstalled program and deletes them. It also scans the folders associated with an uninstalled program and gives you the option to delete, move, or ignore any files and folders that were left behind.
Your Uninstaller can work after the fact and even has a Hunter Mode that you can use to scan your computer and discover uninstalls that went bad or left behind remnants. There’s an AutoFix mechanism for installs that Windows corrupted as well as a manual search tool. There’s a Quick Uninstall option, and there’s also an Advanced Uninstall option, which gives you complete control.
This program is not just an uninstaller but a suite of tools. There’s a disk cleaner, which can eliminate unused files, and a trace eraser, which is what the uninstaller uses to nab remnants. Your Uninstaller also offers a file shredder, which can permanently deleted files; a startup manager, which can dictate what programs load with Windows; a start menu organizer, which cleans unneeded shortcuts; and Windows Tools, which provides a single access point of access to many built-in Windows tools.
Your Uninstaller isn’t free to use but rather is provided as a 21-day trial. At the end of that trial period, you must upgrade by paying for the software or lose access to all features. Another issue with Your Uninstaller is that it doesn’t integrate Windows Restore functionality. It does have a Safe Mode that limits aggressiveness of the application, but like many similar programs, it should automatically create a system restore point each time you use the program to configure settings or perform deletions.
