Art Journaling 101 Online Workshop – Strathmore Artist Papers

Jordan Clark’s Art Journaling 101 is now open and it’s completely FREE to watch and draw along! Jordan is a Seattle-based mixed-media artist.  She grew up in the South and used her love of arts and crafts as a way to find purpose and joy as a teenager in a small town.  She started seriously considering art as a career in college where she studied digital media and entrepreneurship. Shortly after graduation, she opened an online shop to sell her art in the form of prints, stickers, and stationery. Since 2017, Jordan has grown an internet following by posting art tutorials and inspiration on social media and selling her work online.  She now works full-time as an artist and most recently started editing and publishing an art magazine.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of art journaling and how to use this creative practice to strengthen your ability as an artist. You’ll use a variety of mediums to make beautiful illustrations, sketchbook pages, and postcards. Follow along with the projects in this workshop to learn how a regular art practice will help you improve as a creator! You can take these techniques and ideas to incorporate into your own work and spark creativity when you’re in need of inspiration.

You can watch the video lessons here.  The supply list is available on the workshop site so you can get all of the materials needed to follow along.
