1. intro – digital art journaling: higher. It’s portraiture. If you look procreate and want to learn how to create your own digital art backgrounds, why not sign up for a listen today?

2. 1 – creating a background: This is how I create my digital journal background. I started by creating an A for canvas and paint over using three or four colors with watercolor brush. The watercolor brush and the stubble brush are included in the student download area. In a particular order, I use the blend tool or the blending finger, as I like to call it Eraser Tool, which I generally sit to Stupples so that I can raise over areas where I want the layer below to show three. Blend tool can also be sicked to smooth, and I use the watercolor brush to get that really nice blended look. And finally, the brush tool I used to paint the background with is also sit toward to color, but you can use any other brush if you choose. When you use the journal brushes, remember to create a new layer every time you use a different journal. Brash. Remember to also change your color if you wanting to create a little bit of variety. I bought a player’s off different brush tricks to fool the canvas and then merged all these brush list together. Just remember, don’t include your background. This is how you create an interesting design. Build up at least three layers. This is how I do it on the orders, never the same. So my results are more random. I created layer using three or four colors, which I blamed that the blending finger sit to either stop a water color and there in the middle that has a variety of different brush tricks on the top there, which is painted with the color, as I did in the first. Using the arrays, a tool set testable, I start erasing areas so that my middle layer starts to show through. When I’m happy with how much of a raised I’m urged the top in the middle layer together again, I create a new layer above this. This time I’m going to erase areas from the top of the middle air so that my first layer starts to show through. I never erase my first layer. However, I can merge my first and middle there together, and I can repeat the process by adding a second and third layer. The journal brushes can either be used as a stamp by clicking once. Try and make sure that the stamp size is larger it’s easier to pinch it smaller or you can use it as a brush strike and paint with it. You can also add color to the brushstroke by painting on a level I’m continually building up the design as I’m going along with a variety of brushstrokes, less and paint. I hope that you’ve enjoyed the prices and you’re not on your way to creating some of your own really lovely background designs to start building up your digital general from.

3. 2 – creating your first page: watch how I create a journal page using one of my own backgrounds as a starting point. This video has been spit up, but feel free to stop, rewind and watch areas that interested you. You can import floaters and other design elements into your page to create a visual interest. You simply birds and test what works on your design. There is no wrong way. Creating art is all about relaxing, having some me time and getting in touch with your inner child.

4. 3 – using the brushes: canvas and Porcher background and lock the slow on a new layer. Select the brush it you’d like to use. I’m drawing a circle on a new layer. I’ll duplicate this layer, flip it over horizontally and vertically to create a new design. I’ll merge these lows and create a new Ebola Select a color that you’d like to paint it. You can even use the airbrush and sit toe hard. That will do. Try different brushstroke to create unusual effects. Just remember a new brush stroke, a new layer. This could help you decide whether you want your design to be on the top or below. I’m just going to carry on creating wobbly circles. I merge only each circle elements. That would be the circle that I created, the layer that I painted. I’d merge those together, don’t merge the entire design. We’re going to use butts of these. Keeping women layers is a good way off, being able to go back at any time and copy and paste what you need for any other future projects which may be wanting to do just using brushstrokes, I can create a really interesting design and Philip the spaces on my canvas. Once I’m happy with this. I can go ahead and save it as a J pig for future use.

5. 4 – what else?: I’m so excited. What else can you do? There is so much, For example, I’m going to create a digital mixed media collage I’m going to use. Some of those circles are made from the previous video, a scanned in dictionary page, some digital scrapbook elements, some text. I’m also going to take advantage of the bling meds and create a journal page that reminds me that I should take care of myself more often. E clear around with your brushes. I’ve heard it. Some paint splatters in white to my top most lab. I’m loving this page. I’ll say This is a J pig. Who knows? Maybe it will be a background for a new project. You’re only limited by the walls you build around you. I love this expression. I make art every day. It’s my pace of escape. Free yourself and watch how you grow with your art.
