Identity V releases massive 2.0 update featuring a new protagonist and storyline
NetEase Games has just announced a completely revamped version of their 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer title Identity V. Version 2.0 of the game introduces multiple visual improvements including a brand new UI interface alongside the Ashes of Memory Storyline. In addition, players can take advantage of special login bonuses as well.
Identity V’s 2.0 update kicks off a new storyline which begins with Chapter 1: Ashes of Memory. It follows the story of a novel protagonist, Journalist Alice Decross. She has taken over the responsibilities from Orpheus and is now the leading character of the game. Her investigations once again delve into uncovering the hidden mysteries and dark past of the Oletus Manor.
Speaking of the manor, this update sees the restoration of Oletus Manor to its former glory. As a result, players will be able to explore every nook and cranny of the mansion thanks to access to areas such as the banquet hall, study, guest room, and botanical gardens. The manor’s refurbished version has made it quite an accessible place, but still full of secrets.
On top of these gameplay changes, Identity V’s UI is much cleaner now. Since we have moved on from Orpheus, things have been redesigned to suit Alice’s journey, which takes place in a different era. Interactive pages will look different as a new version of the logic path, notebook, and match entrance will be seen. A few other additions include an item backpack and story review for tracking all information.
Oletus Manor has a new keeper who’s set to embark on a thrilling new adventure.
