Reddit – Dive into anything

Hi, Im in the need to install a few (0-3, mainly older like from Intel 3rd gen and up) Windows machines every month. Different manufacturers laptops but also desktops. Currently using “the USB method” for that. No additional software needed, just a clean install of Windows, with all the drivers (this is really annoying because there usually are like 3-4 devices that Windows 10 doesnt automatically detect and install) and also set up some regional and language settings. Thats it.

I have heard of recommendations for PDQ Deploy but everyone recommends the paid version, but for my use case, I cant justify the price. The free version seems too limited.

Could use a trial Windows Server with MDT but from what I have read, it seems a hassle to maintain. Dont want to spend the time I save from installing Windows to maintain and update MDT.

Have also heard about “The FOG project” but there isnt much information about it. Would it suit my use case?

Maybe there is something else for this? Can this be done with ManageEngine free version maybe?
