Valtech and BMG Wins Award for Digital Experience Platform
The Valtech and BMG Production Music project was initially selected for nomination by an independent jury of industry-leading experts from more than 300 entries from 48 nations. In a subsequent public vote, over 20,000 users worldwide cast their votes and chose the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) as their winner.
The new platform enables intuitive browsing of a large music database, for both casual and intensive users – all on a central, user-friendly and future-proof platform.
The new DXP replaces BMG Production Music’s historic platform landscape and offers a holistic digital experience with a focus on usability, search optimisation and design. Through modern headless technology, the platform enables the connection of external services through API, such as the AI-powered “Similar Tracks Search”.
“Every film, radio or game production needs music. Our joint DXP gives all users, regardless of their user behaviour, the opportunity to easily find the perfect music for their project. We are proud and delighted that our work for BMG Production Music has been recognised with the UX Design Award, especially as we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the BMG-Valtech partnership this year,” comments Kerstin Fels, Executive Creative Director at Valtech.
“The feedback from our customers on the relaunch clearly shows that we offer them an even better and more efficient service thanks to the improved usability of the platform. We are very pleased to receive this award together with Valtech,” says Sebastian Hentzschel, Chief Technology Officer at BMG.
The UX Design Awards are a global competition for outstanding user experience and honour projects with outstanding experience design every year.
